NCITA infrastructure staff and the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) held a joint workshop on 21st January 2020 to discuss strategies for supporting imaging research across the clinical research network. The workshop, led by Professor Steven Smye (NIHR) and Professor Shonit Punwani (UCL) included presentations and discussions on the role of the CRN in improving local delivery of imaging research support, including challenges around research imaging costs and recruitment, and the NCITA infrastructure strategy for improving delivery of UK multicentre clinical imaging trials.
