Cancer Research UK have launched their inaugural data-driven cancer research conference #CRUKDataConf24, which will take place 27-28 February 2024 in Manchester.

The conference, which aims to celebrate the potential of cancer research data to drive discovery and innovation, is open to cancer researchers from all career stages, working in or interested in data science, bioinformatics, computational oncology, computer science, mathematics or statistics including those working at the interface between these disciplines. Clinicians and healthcare professionals, patients and patient advocates, other funders and industry representatives are also welcome to attend. 

Professor Eric Aboagye, Director of Imperial College’s Cancer Imaging Centre and NCITA Governance Group member, has been announced as a member of the #CRUKDataConf24 scientific programme committee. Professor Aboagye works at the interface of chemistry, maths and biology, using innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to develop advanced diagnostic tools.
